An Atari 2600 ina dentist office. Dude, U were a lucky duck!! I HATED this game, we bought it originally in the 1980’s for $8. It was a rip off!!

about ‘True Swing Golf’ – i wasnt comparing that to the game being reviewed, i havent tried that yet.

i dunno, the level set up with the castle styled green blocks sort of reminds me of some scenes in E.T. for the 2600.
those interested in a truly great golf game, pick up ‘True Swing Golf’ for Nintendo DS…its better than any tiger woods titles that i’ve tried.

im an avid atari collector, the only reason to have this game, is if you want to do a pokemon and collect them all.I wouldnt even attempt this god awful game.

Good review! But the game sucks! I had the 2600 and this game and in the 1982 the game won a free fly trought the window.

i have this game and i feel that the atari could have dun better for this game it sucks! i have over 100 atari vcs games this is the most hated besides et and pacman ofcourse >:P

I actually have many fond memories of this game. As a kid in the early ’80s, this sort of thing was incredible to me. I remember the akward frustration of the controls, but I enjoyed the fantasy of moving a guy on a screen with trees, and water, and grass. I’m being serious.
These sort of blocky graphics are part of my soul.
I just realized that the golfer is wearing a hat. As a kid I thought he was a strange fellow with a long nose

hahaha that was so funny at the beginning. I never played this one before, this game just looked miserable so I stayed away from it. It doesn’t even look like the golfer is using a club, but a whip of some sort the way he spins it around. What a laugh. I like the clapping at the beginning
And the fact that golf fans couldn’t stomach this game.
Too bad you didn’t yell at Tiger Woods about Golf for the 2600 that woulda been hilarious.
